The ORA analysis can be utilized to optimize any cataract procedure, whether the patient is having Laser-assisted or standard cataract surgery, and regardless of the intraocular lens implant that the patient and has selected. If a patient has astigmatism, the ORA System may also improve the accuracy of their correction to help reduce the chance that they patient will need eyeglasses after their cataract procedure.

How does the ORA System™ Technology with VerifEye work?

ORA VerifEye maps out and analyzes the entire eye and gives the surgeon real time measurements as the surgery is performed. After the cataract has been removed, your surgeon then can easily take a more precise measurement to help with the placement of the new lens.
