Katherine Do, OD is a Southern California native who is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered eye care. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, graduating with honors.
Dr. Do’s clinical training included a wide range of externship sites both locally and internationally. She provided comprehensive care to military families at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan, and gained experience in managing ocular disease and post-operative care at the Orange County Eye Institute. Her training also included rotations at the Southeast VA Tucson Clinic, University Eye Center in Los Angeles, and Ketchum Health, where she provided primary eye care, treated ocular disease, performed specialty contact lens fittings, and managed pediatric cases including vision therapy and myopia control.
Dr. Do is passionate about delivering thoughtful and personalized care to each of her patients. She values strong communication and strives to create a welcoming and supportive experience for all individuals under her care.
Her commitment to community service includes providing vision screenings at local health fairs and volunteering abroad in rural villages in Vietnam, where she helped distribute glasses and set up mobile eye clinics as part of a medical mission.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Do enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking and baking, attending concerts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
